Abstract (English):
The article provides an expert analysis of the Rules for the organization of theological rehabilitation work with convicted persons in institutions of the penal system and the job description of the senior inspector of the group for the organization of theological, rehabilitation work of the Department for educational and socio-psychological work among convicts. The study is aimed at identifying the compliance of these documents with the norms of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan and international standards for the treatment of prisoners, as well as evaluating the effectiveness of their practical application over five years (2020–2025).
