В статье раскрываются результаты работы авторского коллектива по разработке направлений совершенствования уголовно-исполнительного, уголовного, уголовно-процессуального и другого законодательства в связи с принятием Федерального закона «О пробации в Российской Федерации», изданные в виде монографии. Указывается, что значимость данного Закона состоит не в как таковом введении института пробации, а в возможности повышения эффективности достижения целей уголовно-исполнительного законодательства в виде исправления осужденных и предупреждения совершения новых преступлений. Отмечены некоторые направления дальнейших исследований.
The article briefly describes the results of the work of the author's team on the development of areas for improving penal, criminal, criminal procedure and other legislation in connection with the adoption of the Federal Law "On Probation in the Russian Federation", published in the form of a monograph. It is pointed out that the significance of this Law lies not in the introduction of probation as such, but in the possibility of increasing the effectiveness of achieving the goals of penal legislation in the form of correcting convicts and preventing the commission of new crimes. Some directions of further research are noted.
