В статье анализируются направления оказания медицинской помощи осужденным; предлагаются пути его совершенствования. Несмотря на достаточно противоречивый характер тенденций оказания медицинской помощи осужденным, за последние годы было намечено несколько путей ее улучшения. Некоторые из них оказались неперспективными, а другие - дают нам надежду на изменение ситуации в лучшую сторону с обеспечением медицинской помощью осужденных.
In the article the author analyzes the development tendencies of medical care for convicts and suggests the ways of its improvement. Despite the rather controversial tendencies in the provision of medical treatment to convicted prisoners, in the recent years several ways of its improvement have been outlined. Some of them seemed to be unpromising, and some of them give us hope to change the situation with the provision of medical care to convicts for the better.
