The occurrence of stress among employees of criminal Executive system (UIS) comes under review in this article, along with a stage of stress and its effects on service and professional activities. Recommendations of FPS psychologists for the prevention of stress among employees. Considering stress as an adaptive response, the authors identify three main stages: mobilization, associated with the alarm, resistance and exhaustion. Causes of stress may be associated with both work and family relationships. The FPS psychologists’ task is find the ways which involves, first, an in-depth study of individual-personal qualities of staff, and secondly, continuous monitoring of the emotional state of employees, particularly those whose experience is acute, traumatic experiences, thirdly, the work on the prevention of stress and mental health.
