Abstract (English):
The author analyzes international acts guaranteeing the rights and freedoms and security of in places of isolation in the Russian Federation; international acts and penal enforcement legislation of the Russian Federation in terms of humanization of prisoners’ treatment in the penitentiary sphere and various means of encouragement aimed at their correction stimulating; considers the rules of international law application to convicted persons in the United States, Norway, France, Finland and conducts their comparative legal analysis.
