Abstract (English):
The article discusses some areas of combating corruption in the execution of criminal penalties in the as-pect of the implementation of forms of control in accordance with the current legislation of the Republic of Belarus. The relevance of the topic under consideration is determined by the need for a comprehensive study of the problem of the emergence of corruption risks in the penal system of the Belarusian state, tak-ing into account the established law enforcement practice and leveling these risks. The subject of scientific research is determined by the tasks set to develop specific effective measures to prevent corruption in the execution of criminal penalties (in particular, imprisonment for a certain period). This determines the study of the norms of current legislation and scientific theories on the topic under consideration. The methodology of the research consists of general philosophical methods of cognition based on the universal dialectical method, as well as methods of analysis and synthesis, a comparative legal method of research. The author notes the importance and priority of systematic counteraction to crime in the penal enforcement sphere of the state with the help of various measures. Attention is focused on the activation of forms of public control as an element of the formation and effectiveness of civil society. In this regard, the possibility of leveling corruption-related risks is a direction for preventing corruption in general, which determines the scientific novelty of the study. The results obtained can be used in the context of improving the regulation of public relations, which ultimately will reduce the corruption of certain areas of legal influence.
