Abstract (English):
The article contains the text of the author’s translation of articles 81-86 sec. 7 «Parole» of the Criminal Code of the People’s Republic of China. Within the framework of a brief comparative analysis with Article 79 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, a number of features of the institution of parole under Chinese law are highlighted: it is focused on preventing the commission of new crimes; it is not applied to certain categories of persons; correctional influence by state bodies and public organizations continues after the release of a person, etc.
