Abstract (English):
On April 24, 2023, on the basis of the University of the Prosecutor’s Office of the Russian Federation, a round table «Ensuring the rights of convicts by means of prosecutorial supervision» was held in person. The co-organizer of this event was the Academy of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia. The specifics of the event consisted in a discussion of a wide range of penitentiary and other law enforcement, legal and theoretical issues of ensuring the rights of those sentenced to imprisonment, as well as those problematic aspects that may arise in the near future in connection with the adoption of the Federal Law «On Probation in the Russian Federation».
