The article touches upon problematic issues of resocialization of convicts released on parole. The importance of this process is revealed and specific measures aimed at its implementation are given. Taking into account the psychological complexity of serving a sentence of imprisonment, the author reveals in detail what difficulties a convicted person may encounter upon release. The article notes that the issues of obtaining education, employment, material support and maintaining connections with relatives are currently key in the resocialization of convicts. The author considers control over those released on parole as the most important factor in resocialization and focuses on the gaps in legislation that create difficulties in its implementation. In conclusion, options for solutions to the problems under consideration are given.
