Abstract (English):
The article contains the text of the author’s translation of the Decree of the Ministry of Justice of the People’s Republic of China dated March 2, 2004 No. 88 «Code of Conduct for Persons serving sentences in Prisons». As part of a brief comparative analysis with Russian legislation, a number of additional duties of convicts under Chinese law are highlighted: to inform the doctor about their illness, to observe discipline and not to violate the treatment regime; to receive psychological help and undergo psychological tests; to repent of the crime committed; not to spread methods of committing crimes; etc.
